the Staff

Dr. Diane D. Romaine
Dr. Romaine has been practicing dentistry in Frostburg since 1995. In June of 2007, she received her Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a 1995 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She is certified with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Romaine is the 2010-2011 President of the Allegany-Garrett County Dental Society and is President-Elect of the Maryland State Dental Society (MSDA). She is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art training and equipment for her staff to offer patients excellent dental care in a comfortable environment. Dr. Romaine lives with her husband and two children in Frostburg.

Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez
Dr. Gonzalez is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Originally from Miami, Florida, she grew up in Madrid, Spain and completed her undergraduate education at Florida International University in Miami, FL. During her dental training, Dr. Gonzalez dedicated her time serving the needy, mentoring children to choose dentistry as a health care career, and trying to reduce oral health disparities. She enjoys volunteering in free dental clinics such as the Mission of Mercy, Susan Dew Hoff, and missionary trips. Her psychology and social work background uniquely equips her to work well with people in all physical and mental conditions. Dr. Gonzalez is also interested in research and has published articles in different dental journals. Dr. Gonzalez is a member of the American Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry among others. She loves basketball and is also fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Anne Lemak and Dr. Jason Julius
Join me as I welcome to our team of dental professionals, Dr. Anne Lemak and Dr. Jason Julius who will be offering IV Sedation Dentistry:
Dr. Anne Lemak, Anesthesiologist: Graduate of, and now a faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Jason Julius: A graduate of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with extensive training in more complex extractions and IV Sedation. Both Dr. Lemak and Dr. Julius are currently practicing in the Pittsburgh area and will be offering appointments in our office on Fridays on a regular basis.
From the moment you step into our office until the moment you complete treatment, we want you to be comfortable and relaxed!

Lynn |
Lynn graduated from
Allegany College with a certification in Dental Assisting
and an Associate of Arts Degree in Dental Hygiene. She
has been a practicing Dental Hygienist for over 30 years…obviously,
she loves her work! When she is not helping patients,
she loves spending time with her husband, sons, and
pets.

Laurie |
Laurie is a
graduate of Allegany College of Maryland and has worked
as a dental hygienist during the last three years at the
office of Dr. Diane D. Romaine and Associates. She enjoys
the many aspects of hygiene, but she especially enjoys
getting to know her patients, working with them, and educating
them on proper brushing and flossing to achieve a level
of good home care. She stresses the importance of regular
dental check-ups, not only to maintain healthy teeth and
gums, but also to promote one’s overall health.

Karen |
Karen graduated
from Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood,
PA in 2004. She has worked for several dental offices
in both Pennsylvania and Michigan. She and her husband,
Bob, recently relocated to the Frostburg area where Bob
works for Frostburg State University. Karen joined our
staff in August 2009.
Before getting into the dental field,
she personally experienced the consequences of dental
neglect and has undergone many dental and perio procedures.
She understands the fear often associated with dental
care and tried to gently work through each patient’s
anxieties one step at a time. With newer technologies
in our office, dental care is much easier than it used
to be! Success is when a patient makes a choice to invest
in their own good health by getting dental care and
improving their home care. |
